Gli Avatar sono un gruppo melodic death metal svedese, fondato a Mölndal, Gothenburg nel 2001. La band ha ottenuto un buon successo sulle radio rock americano con la canzone “New Land” nel 2017 e con “The Dirt I’m Buried In” nell’agosto 2023.
Avatar sono stati descritti come un concentrato di metal svedese comprendente influenze avant-garde, progressive, industrial e death.
